Inglewood's rental protection is making me submit drivers license, bills and tax license for a unit that at this time I have no incentive to rent when someone can get away with not paying the rent for months.

I don't know if you're trying to do this all with the same lender, but if you're taking up a majority of the office buildings, SBA could be an option which would allow you potentially less down and you can get away with some seller carry (not all lenders allow and/or structure this but some do)...and/or you could potentially wrap in more collateral (like that other property) which some will do (Again not all SBA lenders are the same; some get way more creative than others). 

So i definitely believe they are testing what they can get away with. 

You might be able to get away with less on liability.

Hi all - We have several rentals and we just created a couple LLCs, no website yet though and when I went to register our business with a Google Business Profile they asked to verify using a video.

We require at least 3 video meetings each week, so they can meet and get to know their team.DM us if you want to know more.

Books, videos, blogs, and podcasts are all viable options but how much time would I need to devote to this and how much conflicting information is out there?
