The property was setup perfect for a JADU as the property had already added a garage for cars and converted the old garage to a master suite that already had its own entrance. 

We flipped the layout and you can now see the bedroom entrance door across the way.

The main entrance to this long term project will be right next to my front lawn.

I have a Mother/Daughter home in Middlesex, NJ that has a separate, private entrance for the second floor apartment.

They are completely separate buildings (500 ft. apart) but share water connections, entrance easements and such.

Old 1961 house, with separate entrances to the upper and lower level; I suspect it functioned as an actual duplex at some point.

The fee would be a lot less than that too of they had just secured the main entrances and doors with plywood or something like a $200 metal security door from Homedepot...it's just common sense..not a lot of people have it these days.. 

I need some help; I am considering purchasing a duplex where the entrance faces a road with double yellow lines.
