I'm brand new to investing and relatively new to the midwest, so I wasn't sure how the harsh climate impacted construction.

We are expanding this concept to higher valued add deals and going all in on ADU development and taking advantage of this historic convergence of market trends, demographics and political climate.

Then, how is the climate for property owners?

Cold climate, budget for more snow removal, old cast iron pipes, old appliances, etc, expect more maintenance.  

Unfortunately, for my clients with less purchasing power the current climate is making it extremely difficult for them to purchase a home that they can afford and at best, "like."

I'm almost out personal debt and have over $500k in equity and am ready to leverage into a warmer climate. 

In a warm climate where pipes are shallow, I would dig and replace.

I am looking at a property that uses a ton of gas, it has boilers, and is in a cold climate.

As I am in a different climate I haven't found that an AC has a direct relationship to rent here.

What would be the best (cheapest) HVAC system for a duplex conversion type project with the goal of having independent climate controls in each unit?
