@Brenda Kinney all houses in CA are considered to be sold as is, they only legally need to have Earthquake straps around the water heater and carbon monoxide detectors in bedrooms.

If there are cracks, they could cause carbon monoxide which would not be very good (they could kill the occupants).Two recommendations on a flip/remodelFrom the pic, it looks like this would be a great area to put in a gas fireplace that would really look nice inside the home.

I wanted to get a group of members together so we can brain storm some ideas in what materials which can be purchased during this sale for current flip projects and or if you're planning to build new construction or flips in 2017 why not load up on appliances, carbon monoxide, recess lights etc now and store them away?
