Having been an entrepreneur for the past half century  and bringing 5 children up in our family biz has only served to balance our family pendulum overall and moving forward.I remember many a Christmas Eves, Christmas Days, New Years, Easter, July 4th, family birthdays and every/other holiday that has come and gone over the almost 4 decades we've run our biz's. 

My goal is to update this every month when I update my personal balance sheet**So today is my 38th birthday.

The work I've done on properties for investors here includes instant curb appeal, such as flowering shrubs and plants, hardscape- like paver edging along driveways and walks, and attractive stone mulch.  

Maybe add some built in flower boxes or benches for seating/cooking out.

Someone buried an old washing machine drum in the flower bed in front of the apartment -- redneck planter perhaps?  

Sealing limestone from the inside can create more issues down the road because the limestone leaks naturally and water will become trapped between the limestone and whatever you put on it and the sealant will start to fall off or leak.It's better to tackle the water issue from the outside: Sealing the walls from the outside (lots of digging), making sure water drains away from the house when it rains, proper gutter systems that lead the rain water away from the flower beds.Sometimes you also have to install a sump system.
