My name is Spencer Hayek and I'm an aspiring investor from the south suburbs of Chicago (I'm currently residing in Mokena), and I've been interested in real estate for a while now.  

The market is frothy and young professionals see their parents massively in debt and their ultimate aspiration was to leverage their entire life into a crap box.

The agents in my office are small minded and do not understand investing: if you want to succeed, surround yourself with people who think big and act upon their aspirations.

I can see this happening as the cost of living in NYC is much higher and an aspiring artist would be drawn to that.

I have been a typical landlord who is just now embracing social media to take my business to the next level as an aspiring rehabber.

If you do have aspirations to invest having a license is also going to be an advantage.

I like your aspirations to make better housing for people.  

I have very big aspirations for myself so I want to start in the right spot and grow as fast as I can from there.Any tips and info would be greatly appreciated!!

Or, maybe if my core skill was negotiation and I could close killer deals everywhere I went.But, for normal people starting out with aspirations to become a skilled and "successful" REI (whatever that means), we need education.
