After reading your responses to my post where some stated that every mortgage is a promissory note, I had a chance to sit down with a couple of notaries this past Friday when we closed on another few properties.

I close Friday and already have a potential renter who knows the house. 

Friday nights are the same as a Tuesday night for me now.

The weird thing is that my agent wrote me on Friday saying that a house is coming up in the neighborhood I am looking for, and she set me an appointment on Saturday to see the house, and the seller agent was there too.

Thank you guys for all of your input, it's been a tough time getting through the loan process, but unless something drastic happens I'll be closing on the property next Friday. 

At this point the asset manager wants a decision today weather are not I am committed to next Fridays closing date, if I am and I do not close I will forfeit my earnest deposit.
