I did residential back then and just didn't enjoy it at all.I enjoy commercial so much that I see myself continue to do this well past typical retirement years.

Rental income is part of my retirement plan, I plan to add about 5 properties to my portfolio over the next 10 years.I have downloaded the ebook, and I am looking to learn from other active investors in the area.

Getting a hard money loan, borrowing from family, getting a partner, early withdrawals from retirement money, whatever it takes to do the deal when you have no other options is ok.  

It's a good time to try that too because there are many landlords out there at or approaching retirement and they'd rather have a nice steady check coming in each month than have to deal with the hassles of the property.

So I decided to take the leap despite being Military and stationed overseas (my goals are to build a business enough while still being Active Duty military...this will allow me to enjoy retirement in 9 yrs).
