Hello from Austin

Hello, I am a new investor from Austin, TX. I am looking to acquire my first SF rental property this year, or early next year.  I have more questions than answers at this juncture, which is why I joined the group. I have been in the pharmaceutical industry for 9 years, and have no intention of making real estate a career.  Rental income is part of my retirement plan, I plan to add about 5 properties to my portfolio over the next 10 years.

I have downloaded the ebook, and I am looking to learn from other active investors in the area. I have also been getting all of my finances in order in preparation for my first deal.

Austin is challenging due to the fact that it is a great rental market, but it is also a super hot seller's market...tough to get into SFH's at a price point that will cash flow.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
