They are free, very informative, and never ty to sell you anyhting (well, they do end with suggesting you join as a PRO but they give you a discount code).As for managing your properties, once you get more than 10 or so it becomes very difficult to find the time to do it yourself.

i left eXp after 4 years joining REAL in July, both are online with no physical offices unless a team has one, such as myself. eXp did really well for me, in terms of their stock incentives the provided when i first joined in 2017. since then, they have reduced the financial benefits and the main reason why i switched over to REAL which went public on the nasdaq in july. 

Pro-tip: When hiring a realtor to join your team, look for someone that is already marketing their properties that way that you want to market your property. 

You might look for a smaller bank and offer to move some money there if you can, or a local credit union and join it.
