John - I have seen the same in terms of fees being lower than 20%, and also would encourage investors to run quickly away from any portal that is not a licensed broker dealer.It is my understanding that filing for exemption under Reg A is almost as cost and labor intensive as registering with the SEC - let me know if you've seen otherwise.
