I am just starting out and would like to partner on a flip with someone experienced who is willing to teach me. 

If you are teaching them spreadsheets and financial return metrics, you are teaching them to be investors.  

There are tons of options in RE, which is one of the reasons it's such a great space to get into.Networking is fantastic, but when you meet with people, beware of just sitting there and non-verbally saying "teach me!".

You need someone to teach you how to be a developer and work with / negotiate with all of the professionals involved in the project and process.

Would really like to find a person/people to learn from that already have some success in investing and don’t mind teaching a newbie a thing or two.

In terms of Sponsoring Brokerages with 100% commission, many of them will not take time to teach you how to be a realtor.

This property stands to teach us a lot of lessons.

There are some custodians who teach classes about how to invest with small amount (10k or less, even).

But, as they teach you about business, you need debt to grow faster.I hope this makes sense.
