No it is not a standard feature in homes that rent for less then $1500 a month in the North East.If we were talking about southeast USA then yes it is a standard feature.I know plenty of people in 500k plus homes that do not have central air.

Also there are people who have cars that "just stopped running" esp if its around 130-150 miles It may be the timing belt, and check to see if its a non interference engine, the installation of a new belt may just fix it right up, vs an interference engine which may have extensive damage $$I picked up a car for 900 in this situation, put another 400 to get a new timing belt and water pump installed and it drove just fine!!

@Juliette V.Check out Smyrna or even Murfreesboro if you don't mind being 30 miles out.Smyrna is fairly close to Nashville but I know you can buy under 200k there.

I *do* live about half a mile down the street from a local high school.For a high school, if the buyer/renter has kids that are 16+, and kids can drive at 16 in that state, the kids may not like it, because then they don't get to be cool and drive a car to school
