The others adapted right quick and the people I have placed are a dream.I only have one issue right now-I am pretty capable of navigating the protective laws of 3 or more units here in NJ- but one thing drives me bonkers: I cannot give a tenant notice of non-renewal for renovations.

Encourage them to apply Yes,, but work with them in this situation,, is a Yes also..Your patience and understand is all they are requesting,, not to get out of paying the bill....Good luck I'm sure you'll help them out and do the right thing ,,

I'm in NJ but a quick search on Houston landlord tenant law pulls up a Houston Housing and Community Development Dept page which say:---------------------- A landlord must LET TENANTS ENJOY THEIR HOMES.
