Consult your accountant.In which ever state your entity does business it must be registered in that state and will be governed by the laws of that state first, not the state where it was first registered.At the Federal level, however, there may be some benefits.

@Arash L. when I tried to use SBA, at that time (over 10 years ago), I could live in half and then be the owner operator of the second half, lot of government caveats and extra 3rd party closing cost, plus life ins. etc etc.
