I did realize the full potential of the property finally though.

When you are making a lot of offers and some will be low, you want to fully explain how you got there so for the few that read it, they may start to realize they are overpriced.

In November of 2019 we realized that the new ownership information had not been registered with the City. 

Im in school as well as working full time but I’ll be honest— living in New York is so expensive and between student loans and not being able to do overtime while in school i realized I don't want to spend my life putting hours in the hospital just to get by.

The only thing I could think of is maybe if they have a very small % of ownership in the building (and I mean maybe 5% or so) and they take more of a payout up front and less of a payout as the property performs and appreciates; but again a good operator realizes that having equity in an asset is valuable so I'd be cautious of this type of setup. 

They think it's risky, don't realize the LONG TERM benefits, or think you'll end up being a slum lord.

FYI, when I got into RE I started getting into conversations about the market, investing, etc and  quickly realized that there were more investors in my immediate sphere of influence than I originally thought!

Because as the poor become more and more impoverished, they tend to forget they're temporarily embarrassed millionaires and realize they're POOR, and their behavior becomes unpredictable.

Got interested in real estate after I realized I made more in equity this year than working 40+ hour weeks in my profession!

I've recently been coming to the realization that nobody will be as concerned with my wellbeing as me and to never give away my agency in that regard.
