At best I would be very hesitant and reluctant, at worst I would think of it as a scam.

For some reason they were thinking I was the owner of that other property as well this is why I initially though it was a scam mail. 

I was scammed once and it will not happen again!

(probably because the way i got the lead. it was just way too easily like i said)all i am going to be doing is wholesaling the house. but i dont know if there are any scams out there that i just dont know about. if you know of any scams please let me know

I would recommend the first one , rich dad/poor dad, and cash flow quadrantThe author has been shown to be a scam in recent years, and he licenses his brand to real estate seminars that steal money from peopleWith that said these two books, are good reads and definitely can change ones mind for the better.

I just started as a property scout for a company that may or may not be a scam just so I can get some experience under my belt.

Now it sounds like a scam, or the title search missed it. 

At least this was a more honest approach to ask.I could write a book, I'm sure, about RE gurus and the scam/hype involved, but I won't.Being able to make money in RE does not make one an expert in RE!
