My question was this, to save time and money, is there a place I would be able to see if a previous soil test has been done, building plans, anything? 

I have a few of my higher priced ones in my personal name because you can have up to 10 conventional in your personal name and they have typically have lower rates, so might as well save them for the bigger ones.The majority are in LLC's. 

And cash is my only asset I have been saving for two years for my dream to own 5 properties before age 20.

BOFA has 3.18 trillion Assets, most earning prime +, so north of 8%, but the bare minimum they would earn would be 5.33% with any cash deposits parked at the FED reverse repo facility, which equates to about $470,816,666 per day in interest, So delaying a digital payment for a week is like 3.5 Billion dollars across its portfolioAnd I love that despite tbills going from near zero to 5.4% over last 2 yrs, BOFA/CHASE still paying its depositors the Princely sum of 0.01% on savings accounts.

While it’s been helpful I figure it’s really only saving us about $300/month.

(To save $7500 in taxes by paying $1,000 give or take in fees.).

Don't try to do everything yourself in hopes you'll save a bunch of money.
