I will buy and hold the property and it has 2 units, my question is I do not have my own house (live at home with parents) am 22 years old, have a paid off car in my name though worth about 11k , and a savings account.

Most people who do the furnished apts are marketing to business clientele who are in town for training, In the 70's & 80's most places were furnished, but over the years as the lack of parent training of their offspring gets less and less, it became too costly to do a furnished apt.

Hi:It would probably be best to bond around the lien to get the property sold.If you owe any money to the GC withhold that until he gets the lien removed.
