Was able to get the exemption on renovating a building in Bridgeport earlier this year, thought it might be helpful to others to detail how it works with specific vendors – Home Depot – easiest vendor to work with, they’ll link it to your phone number and also it will stay on your online profile for online orders.

I mention this, not to say you can't or shouldn't charge more, especially if the tenant's risk profile dictates a higher deposit, but to make sure you know and understand the laws.

Does anyone have any references or tips on using someone else’s credit profile (my older sister who’s been on salary would be mine) for getting pre-approved for a home?

Well @Steve LeBlanc I don't really know you and there is nothing on your profile that helps me really know who you are or your experience level. 

Fill out our BP profile on what you want to do and how you want to do etc., When you reach out to someone, they will surely check your profile before accepting your request.

It will depend on your real estate profile.

Your profile indicates you're building a 26 million dollar home, but new to real estate and want to become financially independent.  

Replace those with new boards.Also, look in the attic (and the garage rafters) for builder stashed leftovers (yes from 1908).You might also be able to pull them from a low traffic area (such as under where a bed will sit), and put them in a high traffic area.The replacement boards will need to profile match the pulled ones.
