@David Cruice I don't think I'd be interested in being a Realtor, it would be strictly for MLS access and saving commissions, not to mention it will help me build relationships with lenders, contractors, brokers, etc., however working at a real estate investment company for a few years definitely seems like a great idea to understand how everything works.

Also, if you know contractors that I can connect with to know how much it would cost to build and the style I should build.I haven't bought my first property yet and appreciate any advice that anyone can offer.

I'm a contractor so I intend to occupy the office space unit and one of the apartments, and then rebab the apartments one by one.

Yesterday I got a text from a contractor about a rehab project I have going in Austin.

He was relying on a contractor and had issues with him to complete the rehab.
