But, if you're analyzing lots of deals, 9% of ARV is probably going to be a lot quicker to compute than 10% of total costs (as adding up total buying, holding and selling costs typically takes a bit more time).Sorry to be pedantic, but the engineer/mathematician likes both accuracy and precision... :-)

I suspect that on market sales make up well over 50% of the total multifamily sales, but I'm going to dig into that to see what I can find.I actually pull my numbers manually (not through the pre-prepared TREND charts/data) from Settled properties on an annual basis.
