To learn more about the Milwaukee market, I'd highly recommend Marcus Auerbach's YouTube channel. 

I just took the test without a class a few months back and prep agent was the key and a ton of free info on YouTube.

I made a YouTube video specifically about how to find private money lenders that goes in depth about this topic because so many newer investors ask this same question.

If you want to see the data check out my YouTube channel, I have covered this in almost every market update.There are a few things that are different this time compared to 2008: the demand is real (not driven by speculation, but by millennials who want their first house), the supply is short, we still have low production and no vacant homes, lending is conservative, home equity is large, but HELOC utilisation is low, and none of this is looking to chnage any time soon, so I think the current trend and direction is going to stick with us for years to come! 

First thing I would do is educate yourself as much as possible by reading some good books or watching some youtube videos.Second thing I would do is is hone in a bit better on what type of investment you'd like to do. 

@Julie Marquez, being a fairly regular YouTube watcher, the people I follow got into it because of an intrinsic drive, not a popularity contest.  

The main one I found that seems to be really good is Hybrid Construction LLC https://www.hybridgc.com/ While I cannot vouch for their work (as I have not use them personally yet), the photos and videos I've seen on youtube for their rehabs look authentic.

I've been listening to every BP podcast about wholesaling I can find, as well as other podcasts, articles to read, and even YouTube "newbie wholesaling mistakes" to learn as much as I can about the process.I understand the concept entirely, and the general process.

I am a plumber/steamfitter and due to work being slow in the area I have been working in Pennsylvania since December of 2018At some point last year while watching youtube a BiggerPockets video showed up on my feed and I became interested in learning more about real estate I guess and that led my to purchase Brandon Turners book on investing in rental properties.Also last year my wife and I wanted to try and buy the parcel of land next to us from our neighbor who currently doesn't live in the property, it just sit vacant.

@Christian Germeroth YouTube, Tom Wheelwright and he has a lot of great information about LLC and taxes and transferring and why.
