Getting my real estate license

Greetings,

Recently I have been thinking about getting real estate license to start buying and selling houses as I build my portfolio.

Any advices on how I should move forward?

What school would you recommend I’m currently in the Atlanta Ga.

Is getting the license a good way to start off?

Questions:

1. Why specifically do you want to get your license?

2. What is your real estate investment preferred strategy - buy and hold; fix and flip; etc.

3. Are you planning to grow your portfolio in GA or multi-state?

As for the school situation, my recommendation is to pick one w/live zoom classes as opposed to the self-pace. I did self-pace and it took me FOREVER. Way too much info to digest solo. I ended up learning everything in the month after I finished the course by taking Prep Agent (which I highly recommend to study for the exam) - I passed on my first go round.
