What are some resources you recommend on how to evaluate properties and locations?

If it's mostly stories about bake sales and farmers' markets, I know it's an A- or B-class neighborhood.The one time I *might* consider investing in a D-class area if it was directly in front of the city's immediate path of progress. 

This way I can be the ultimate DIYer and have the ability to evaluate whether contractors are doing things correctly once I’m ready to start using contractors.

These were things I wasnt even aware of but its good to learn these things before I make a mistake.Ill be going to look at it and try and evaluate the costs of repairs this coming weekend.

We did perform due diligence and ran all our usual checks including a background check and financial history evaluation.
