I haven't done anything up on that scale but I have some experience with small MF but now that you're local maybe we can meet up at one the REI events or something, some of the people there are probably more into that ballpark and I know a few people that I can network you in with if they fit your strategy's needs.

The can also assess the rental rate and vacancy rate of the area (after you find a property) If you are waiting for an agent to bring you properties, when they have other clients they are working with and other agents can easily see these listings too, they wont be the good deals.Good deals are found by networking, driving around, scouring the notice of default and foreclosure listings, etc.

Lili here, I am a first-time investor looking for a couple different things:1) A house hack in or near the downtown area.2) Connections to real estate agents, contractors, etc. to start building a network and deciding on a strategy for my REI (wholesaling, BRRRR, etc.)I am a recent college grad (June 2018) with no debt, around ~$20k in savings, very low expenses, and I travel a good amount, so Airbnb can be an option as well.Any and all advice and recommendations are more than welcome!

If that does not make sense, then the option is to terminate the 401(k) and roll the assets to a suitable IRA.Best to discuss with your 401(k) plan provider and CPA.
