They stopped collecting the "nights rented" data in mid-2016 when they took the reporting system to online.The only dip was after the wildfires of 2016 where rentals dropped off due to bad media coverage (many people though the whole area burned down) and the actual loss of over 1200 rental cabins.

Whats a good book on how to run systems for short term rentals?

Where a larger operation will look at the small deals as a pool and have a set of systems, and people in place to deal with them.
