Im a realtor who wants to start wholesaling, but the whole assignment of contract thing kept messing me up and I feel Like it makes the process harder.I don't know son, I think I'd go back and read a few books on the whole process "thingie".

Hi all, I'm considering buying a SFR with a guest house out back that is currently used by the owner's son.

My son is insured contractor that does Rehabs.

My son owns a duplex in Taylor!  

I actually had an experience in my own neighborhood, where I knew the elderly gentleman that passed away, met with the son (who seemed very lovely and reminisced about his childhood).  

Myrtle Mike Thompson, I highly agreed the agreement(s) on both sides (if signed) will dictate the outcome of this transaction. 

I found a home in Napa at Silverado that I could buy with a simple assumption ( SF was in the tank) it was only 10k down and 10k to transfer the golf membership.I owned at the time my current home in Palo Alto.

We would take a loan out on our house or refinance (although we did do that about 7 years ago).If we were to buy a property and have it ready by next fall, my son and his roommates could live there his JR and SR year and hopefully develop a following for future student rentals.

The house has a detached 1 bedroom "Rec" room where my husband, son and I live.
