Lowes and Home Depot both have quality vanities for about $200 with everything include and you should be able to get installed for $100.

Clearly its not going to be up to the International Building Code but it would be safe and we could install the various systems up to code with a little flexibility from the building dept.I know this is kind of wrong and weird but I'm wondering if anyone out there has any experience with something like this? 

Now, I tend to lean toward architectural purism, but at the same time feel, unless a house is of some historic importance, nothing is exactly architecturally sacrosanct.That said, most bathrooms are usually on the side or the rear of the house, where I feel there is more latitude for minor updating.So, I usually install a wide but skinny gun slit close to the ceiling with a jalousie window (or split it into two jalousies), so the bottom is well above head-height. 

You wouldn't let them run a pit bull rescue shelter, or install a pool and high dive for recreational olympic style diving. 

If vinyl not installed properly you could get water streaming behind the vinyl or leaks of it.6.  

 (2) asbestos is obviously a significant issue - can you confirm when the vinyl siding was installed and by what party?

. - I cleaned out the condo (I negotiated a washer/dryer, big cold freezer, computer, and several old books and ornaments which I think all together adds up to about $4,000), installed laminate floors in living room, paid someone to tile the kitchen, I replaced all the fans and lights, installed dishwasher and new microwave, ripped out vanity and installed pedestal sink in downstairs 1/2 bath to give space, and replaced all gold sink and toilet fixtures with brushed nickel.

I'll willing to install them myself, if I can find a RTA/Knock Down dealer the will sell it assembled.
