I'm sure the answer to this question is speak with an attorney, but before I do so, I would love to hear some real life examples of when you should create an entity when purchasing with a partner.Here's the situation: I live in CA, and I know 3 different CA investors (lets call them John, Bob, and Adam) who would like me find buy and hold rentals in the midwest, fix them up, and rent them out.

Most contractors who don't know you from Adam won't do it, but if you get a relationship sometimes it works out.

Actually, I'm looking at property in Adams, MA so fill me in if Im missing something otherwise very unusual about MA?

Property Tax increases:   According to Adam Schuster (June 15, 2022) amendment 1 would guarantee a $2,149 tax increase for the typical Illinois family.

My dad is adamant that he wants the fence moved, but I myself don't think it's worth the investment just to gain a small stretch of land.
