I got the impression his partner wanted to do financing through them over 15 years and the main investor wanted to buy outright… i assume that’s why it fell through. if we sold the place to an investor, we’d need to sell outright and would need the money upfront (instead of financing).

From what I've heard it largely consists of a bunch of unrealistic investors who try to do subto, seller finance and other creative deals and everyone knows a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy..... but nobody is the guy if you get what I am saying.
