Hi Everyone,I’m looking into applying for a fixed rate HELOC and was wondering if anyone has any recommendation on which bank or credit union I should focus on?

Looking at areas a little farther out in the greater Boston area - like Dorchester, where triple decker multifams can be in the 500k-900k range, is where I focus my buy and hold strategy.  

Focus on your on deals by yourself don’t get guilted into doing a foolish business transaction or you’ll regret it big time .

Decide how much money you have access to, & the zip codes, city or state you want to focus on.

I'm more focused on creating passive income than a property that will appreciate in value. 

Appreciation and equity however play a way bigger part in the Austin market and what my clients focus on when purchasing duplexes. 

We have not done any deals yet, I’m focusing on education first as I’m brand new to this.

What niche of real estate investing do you want to focus on? 

Most successful investors in know in Bakersfield are either finding off market deals or are focusing on value add.
