If you don't plan on living there I would recommend keeping it close to your primary residence or on the way to and from an area you travel frequently (Like work or something) Driving an hr or so out of the way each time there is an issue will really start to be annoying after a while trust me!

The upside is I do live less than a mile from a major university (which just added a medical school) and has a developing area.  

Weather impacts house shopping, traveling ( spring break) keeps people away from house shopping, etc.

That said - any way that you can add gaps between up and down is going to prevent sound from traveling down. 

Lately, I have been traveling a lot so I'm rarely home nowadays but I was wondering if I were to put my condo's 1 bedroom as a private room on Airbnb and give the customer access to everything in the unit except my own room, do I need an LLC?
