I’m curious as to the thoughts of a CPA here given the differences in tax implications generally between NJ and FL.

Once you start looking offline for deals it gets a little trickier to get the information if the seller isn’t prepared.

On another side note, I thought what I was charging him was fair as it covered the mortgage and minor repair costs.

There is some really good ones out there who are not surprised by this market cycle, who prepared for it, anticipated it, took actions in preparation for it, and are weathering it like the Master Navigators of the investing sea they are.
