Instead of having to file interest income yearly, (next year I may be a non-resident alien, may not be going back to USA), would like pay and to report all gains and interests for tax year 2017.

Essentially they charge for the water that was lost, but not the corresponding sewage treatment cost since they didn’t treat the leaked water as sewage.

On top of this, I also receive $3,200 monthly from VA (medically retired Army) and $3,400 for being a full time student using my education benifits (both not taxable).

Plus it is short money for them to handle the balance and the escrow and borrower reachout if it is non performing.Like any business, what is your time worth?
