Most in your shoes want to move as quickly as possible and sometimes slowing down & being more deliberate will save you time and money in the long run.

When I've sold items on Facebook marketplace before or given things away using my Buy Nothing group, I've always checked the age of someone's profile and any public info on their profile along with evaluating the conversation to see if they pass a "vibe check".

We keep a sign in the STRs with the direct book website and a QR code along the lines of "save booking fees on your next stay by booking direct."
