BTW, everything I'm saying is Georgia specific, I have NO IDEA what other states do, so you absolutely need to check locally.I'm assuming it will be similar because of the Uniform Commercial Code, but there will be nuances in different states and cities.

I would also mail her letter stating who has responsibility for the hall way lights and code limits for the number amps allowed in an outlet.Sounds like you need to just restart with better tenants.

I get the combination smoke/CO detectors in one unit; if battery-only powered, I get the units that have a 10 year battery and warranty these days.A level of 500 is more like 100 times normal; in a house where I have a CO detector with digital readout and peak level memory, it never got above 9 over many years of service.Sounds like some of that work was not done to code; the code enforcement inspector could be called in to do what they do.

I can read the tax code, but it gets very complicated as it makes references to other regulations and often speaks to other tax findings, so to really know taxation, there is a lot of research and knowledge in tax findings and tax law that becomes necessary to be a credible tax advisor.
