You'll see a lot of landlords struggling with Section 8 renters that don't pay their share of the rent, don't maintain the home, break the lease, act entitled, etc.If you know what you are doing, Section 8 can be a good thing.

I know some others using them and have been very happy. 

But back to your question: I don't know.

@Michael Smythe they definitely made it seem like it was the best way to go lol but I’ve been down the rabbit hole too many times to now know when it seems too good to be true, that’s why I wanted to come on here and get some insight.

I know I can look at an amortization schedule, but I am guessing there has to be a simpler way to quickly estimate the numbers - can't find a decent online calculator for thisAppreciate any help - thanks!

Did you know for sure you’d be able to find deals in your market before hand?

We don’t feel great about it for various reasons, namely it’s a liability, an eye sore, and we don’t know of all the problems this could present.Has anyone had this happen?

You just never know.
