These deals can be profitable, but for various reasons are difficult to complete and difficult to profit.

The first steps are difficult as things get figured out, but it appears that after that it's just refining what you learn and scaling it up to multiple properties.  

Balance out your own convenience and comfort when you're in town with the added rental income when you're not, and it may make sense.
