I used the following to make my down payment: a.Cash saved in the 2 or 3 months between my girl friend and meb.Personal loan from the bank at I think some 15% interestc.Cash from credit card – something I will never do again but I had no other choice at that time11 days before my birthday I walked into my new house – my own house!

My husband and I are 33, with 4 young kids (ages 8-2), and while we are not really new to flipping, my husband has been unhappy in his career and has decided to really flip houses instead.We didn't start out as flippers but I guess more smart first time home buyers.

Your carpet is at the end of its useful life and then some (so I think a judge or smart tenant or their lawyer would likely be able to argue against the deposit offset).
