Because the market is out there and if you have a passion and you know others have the same passion...how did you start...did you want someone to tell you so you could ask questions... or go read a book...when you share your knowledge to promote wealth for others...it comes back 10 fold...you should want to encourage others to be successful just as you are...!

Self promotion of any kind is not allowed here. 

The next step, as you mentioned corporate/executive housing can be more lucartive, is reaching out to some of those companies recuirting offices/agencies, building a relationship with them, and promoting/talking about your property.

The norm seems to be that most collective markets are trending up quite well, but are just overrun with supply, so individual STRs are making less on average due to the low barrier to entry in these markets + airbnb arb influencers promoting the hell out of it.  

This isn't simply a South Dakota problem, in fact the more I expand and do business outside of my home state the more I tend to see people's walls go up and it be harder to build real relationships in the business world.I would love to start a discuss on this, not just for my South Dakota peers but for a healthy Bigger Pockets community as a whole and promote the idea of collaboration and mutual growth.

As I mentioned in my comment "Landlords are required to allows ESA's" I was only providing advice to promote the most favorable experience... which I also said in my comment. 

Until I realized that you need a lot of capital to be able to promote effectively.

Does anyone know the behind the scenes the process BRHP takes to list and promote properties  listed with them?
