Wanted to get some input on the market there because I’m thinking about sticking with wholesaling for a bit till I learn the area a little better then transition into flipping.I’ve watched a lot of videos of some of the better areas and some of the not so good areas and from what I got is that the closer you are to the water the better the neighborhoods get.

Wanted to transition from rentals to flipping How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Starting off with a single-family home whether it be a longer-term rental or short-term rental is the best way to start and gain experience before deciding if you want to transition to syndications.

I think the reason to use him or one of his colleagues is that the transition from purchase to getting the the home rent-ready and tenant installed would be quicker, i.e. they could begin searching for prospective tenants sooner than if we used a different agent.

I recently made the transition from the corporate world and wanted to make a new introduction here.

That's why I'm planning to invest out of state, perhaps, more passively since I have a full-time job, but will transition into investing actively as I gain more experience and knowledge.

I am an agent/partner with Compass in downtown Boston, but I have a background specifically related to investment properties as I hold my CFA designation and spent nearly a decade in investment management while building a RE portfolio on the side before transitioning full-time to RE. 

We had some tenant and PM issues with one but Zach has been beyond helpful during the process to get tenants to pay as well as transition to a new PM company.
