I flew a patient from his farm to a trauma center 3 or 4 days ago; he had been in a fire and had suffered burns to 90% of his body.

I am constantly 3 steps ahead of Google because as a human being, and google being an algorithm, and a bunch of programmers, with a lot of red tape and burocrasy it is very easy to be smarter and faster than google.See it this way.

The PM has several phone numbers and it would sometimes take more than a week of telephone calls before I could speak with a human voice.

lately I have seen a lot of wholesalers tossing their faces on the front as well... humanizing themselves perhaps?  

You didn't even get to the decision maker.I have experienced this and it sucks.I know there are human factors involved as far as saving reputation and not wasting time but but speaking from the buyers side, it can be deflating trying to get through a realtor so you can make true action steps.I did like the advice to go directly to the sellers agent and at least make a verbal offer and start a conversation. 

That vaccine will take time and to be clear we have as a human race come c out of pandemics without vaccines always.
