Website Tips for SEO?

Question

I am looking to create a marketing website for my wholesaling business. After having very small returns from direct mail and moderate from cold calling, I have done some perusing of the forums and podcasts and it appears online marketing is really working well for several investors and seems to be a cheaper investment for the return. I plan for this website to be a source of gathering motivated seller information and a way for them to locate and contact me if they are interested in selling.

My question is, once I create this website, what are some good tactics to raise SEO? Also I have created a Facebook business page and wondering if anyone was having much success advertising on that platform as well?

You are absolutely correct...

but the challenge is a bit deeper than that.

Who was first the chicken or the egg.? (the answer actually is the reptile ( reptiles turned into birds).. but who is counting)

If you have a brand new website, or even if your website is 15 years old and you are on page 7 of Google.. no amount of Uhmuyzinggg content will get you ranked.

You need to be on page 1 high in the ranks to get traffic (so people can see your good content) ,  yet you need to have good content to rank 1... BUT... you need to rank 1 for good content to be useful, BUT you need good conetent to rank 1..... so then... what do you do!

You do On-Page and off page SEO in parallel to good content... "just" Good content alone will not magically get you ranked... sadly.

Here is my secret. And this is why no SEO company can ever come close to J SEO...

I completely ignore google and its guidelines. To hell with Google.

I am constantly 3 steps ahead of Google because as a human being, and google being an algorithm, and a bunch of programmers, with a lot of red tape and burocrasy it is very easy to be smarter and faster than google.

See it this way. When ever google does research on anything ranking, it will take them months to implement it and update their algorithms. If YOU were to do the same research, it is a matter of days to skim through the results, analyze it and develop a new novel unique strategy to implement it.. and the result.... I am MONTHS ahead of Google. Every time Google makes an update, and they see my site they go: "Well lookie  here.. this dude already has it done perfectly fine. He most be really focused on user satisfaction, we better rank this dude high" and poom!

While "Real" SEO companies are still trying to fight each other with every SEO 101 strategy everyone else is doing, I am light years ahead of them.

It simply is too easy. The SEO system is set up for failure when someone like me comes along. Seriously. No SEO company can compare to "some" individual doing their own SEO because the better known the SEO company, the more clients they have. What if 2 of their clients operate in 1 city? One of them will out rank the outer, as 2 search results can never occupy the same ranking position. So one of them is paying that SEO company for nothing. The fact of the matter is that BOTH are paying them for nothing because non of them will ever rank when both sites have the same work done to them.

So it is simply a law of physics.. inherently set up for failure to go with a SEO company, UNLESS that company ONLY takes on 1 client per market. And that... I highly doubt!

The best SEO these days is good, useful content. If people WANT to go to your site and learn or read or apply, search engines will see that and rank your pages higher. Look at BP as an example. I’m sure they check off the ‘SEO’ requirements like H1 tags, navagatable menus, etc, but their real secret is content. Blog posts, news articles, calculators, forum, etc. people want to come here, so Google will push more people here.

If all you have is ‘call for more info’ on your site, you can throw all sorts of ‘SEO magic’ and money at it and it won’t help at all.

THAT is the question isn't it!!

Google has little bots perving all of internet. When you have your site link on "certain" google selected websites, your site gets scanned.

There are some sited better than others for this, but in general the more backlinks you have, the more chance you have the google bots will find your website, and the more traffic you will get.

So if you are a fan of moi... you must have come across how I rant AGAINST back links.... BUT... that is where back-links still are needed.

The more web-presence, the more google will think you are legitimate, the better chances you have to rank high.

This is why Google content is king... when you already are ranking #1. When people find you and love you, you will stay on top. But what do you do when you are not on top?

Backlinks, let your traffic find you, even if forced when you have to!
