And per definition, when someone becomes motivated they will take it upon themselves to find a solution to their problem, which is the entire premise behind motivation.

Definitely talk to a lender on if this is a viable option though. 

I am right from the area you are looking to relocate with the wife. 500k for a single family home is definitely not a super hard task in these areas. especially with that 100k down payments.

@Zeke Nickie So far the only two times I’ve crashed and burned in real estate has been when I’ve been involved with a partner so just be super careful if this is the path you choose to pursue.

I’ve talked to a few mentors about my career path, and an option they thought would be good for me is becoming a certified general appraiser.

Additionally, if you are willing to get creative, you can definitely find cash flowing deals out there.

Now, the FED is definitely determined to slow us down.
