As a tenant, there is a waiting list for these, and my experience is that they're well-managed and cared for.These are tax properties, with several different funding types, so some apartments are rented at market and others at different levels/types of funding, and all will accept Section 8 vouchers.It's big business - lots of baby boomers out there looking for this type of housing. 

All because of the in-law suite. 75% of the foot traffic was represented by younger baby boomers (50 - 55) who were willing to sell their home along with a parents to purchase this one.

Without knowing the exact situation, there are alot of duel income professionals who like family houses for the space, their fur babies, etc. 

Getting a former paying tenant, holdover tenant from a seller, semi-quasi-related baby daddy's family of a decedent or other interloper and their stuff out...legally...is quite another.I've been sued when I should not have and not been sued when my people cut corners. 

Last month a young couple with 2 month old baby paid late.

One red flag with me was child payments in arrears - gone baby!

I'm 31 years old, I have a 2 year old and a baby on the way.

Even though I have informed her we are not currently qualified to accept Section 8 housing she still is wanting to fill out an application and show the place to her 'baby dad.'

Take baby steps and don't measure where you are by what others have achieved.
