Before I found this site I went to one of those 3 day workshops run by an investing guru.

Not one of the $25k things by any means, but if you can ignore the sales pitches during the 3-day workshops (from any guru), I think there is always stuff that can be taken from them. 

To ballpark the numbers I've been working with a mentor from my local REIA and have attended several workshops at the REIA where rehab has been discussed.

Although I don't consider this a hurdle as now i'm very confident in what actions to take as I feel I truly have a handle on how real estate investing/deal analysis works! Hope

I have added some amount for an extension that was added to the workshop building, and some appreciation.My questions:1.

Or give a "workshop on real estate investing for medical professionals" at an industry trade show - try the smaller, local shows first to build up your reputation in the medical industry.

Once you are successful in your MF investment, write an article about it, give a speech to a real estate club describing it, and perhaps volunteer to teach at a workshop or seminar.

Our grand fathers had work shops in the basements and our grandmothers planted flowers in the front yard.

These people won't be selling workshops, they will be buying/selling/renting houses.
