Transitioning to financial planning, especially becoming a CFP®, is a significant commitment, both in time and initial financial sacrifice.

You can rent that out as well on months your not there and ultimately refinance down the road to pull cash out and transition into a full time LTR or short term rental VRBO to make more money.

The last 3 years I have been transitioning into investments and development. 

On the positive side, there are actively STR licensed and listed properties that could seamlessly transition to new investors. 

Hi Joshua , There are a few ways you can structure the financing to accomplish this transition. 

The prices are improving for the buyers as the market transitions to a more stable / normal market. 

It's an area I don't actively recommend STR as it does have usage limitations (duration restrictions between guests) but it's primarily a second home getaway and will transition to full time vacation rental down the line.
