The main positive about killeen is that soldiers have secure jobs and income.

I run a property management company in a military town and have rented to soldiers sight unseen several times.

@Adaeze Medani - welcome to the forum and congratulations on soldiering through your years at the UW.

I'm considering focusing on future property acquisitions in military towns due to the constant influx of soldiers seeking properties to rent, is this a good idea?

Also, doing some homework, I see 3 current brigades (thats approximately 10-15k soldiers, not including their families) currently gone from fort bliss all due back approximately the september time frame.

Each is massive, transit bases.  25K+ Soldier/civilian base that the Army will not shrink.  

I tell all my soldiers to buy a 2-4 unit with the VA loan and live for free.

However, as a Soldier, I took great pride not in individual accomplishment, but in sharing accomplishments with others.
