Their kitchen is directly beneath mine and whenever they cook, their cooking odors travel up and become overwhelming in my unit.  

If you just come here for some entertainment on the forums, that's fine - but there's a ton more wealth to be obtained, financial and otherwise, by just digging a little beneath the surface.

The bottom cabinets you move into place and secure to studs in the back and through the face frames to keep the fronts flush (shim as needed).

A  2 foot level and some shims will make a big difference in appearance, I also shim it with a slight angle to the front so any spilled water does not pool in the back. 

I open up the door to the area beneath the sink, and I see a fuc#ing cooking pot sitting there all nasty and I s#hit you not THE P-TRAP HAD BEEN REMOVED.

If you've got multiple guys working on this, it's usually cheaper to buy the prehungs and have them delivered, shim and install quick-quick, have them foam-roller the doors with semigloss latex enamel paint, and pop in the knobs.

They complain about paying plumbers $125/hr. and consider them to be beneath them.

In most areas within 50 miles of the Ocean a foreigner (those without Mexican citizenship or passport) ie: me, cannot generally own 'title' to the land beneath the home they own.

I live beneath average means, spend money on ONLY essentials, save every penny and keep studying.
